Experience

Robert Perkins joined Performance Communications as Chief Executive Officer in June 2023. He is responsible for managing and leading all day-to-day operations and working with the company's executive team to develop the systems and infrastructure needed to scale the business and expand the firm's investment impact to better serve investors.

A telecommunications industry veteran with 27 years of experience at AT&T, Robert has expertise in cell tower construction, business strategy, engineering, operations, sales and service. He has controlled $1.6 Billion capital budgets and managed a $4.3 billion transformation project.

Robert's telecommunications career began in the military, where he designed communication networks for U.S. forces as an Army Signal Officer during missions in Europe and the United States. He has also been an adjunct Professor at the SMU Lyle School of Engineering, where he taught graduate-level telecommunications engineering classes. 

Education

Robert holds a B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Kansas, and three master’s Degrees: an M.S. in Telecommunications Engineering with an emphasis in Wireless Networks (Southern Methodist University-Lyle School of Engineering), an M.S. in Science and Technology Commercialization (University of Texas Austin, McCombs School of Business), and an M.S. Degree in Advanced Data Analytics (University of North Texas).
